OVERVIEW
NPAWS
The National Pet Advocacy and Welfare Society (NPAWS) believes that all pets are born beautiful. The NPAWS Pet Positive Movement is working to end normalized pet cruelty by saving tails, ears, claws, and more from non-therapeutic invasive procedures. Such needless actions as tail docking, ear cropping, declawing, and other antiquated traditions have no place in modern America.
I designed the following site experience with these core principle in mind:
People
Facebook puts people first. This is reflected through every decision made on the site's design and experience - each component is build both for the user's needs and to elevate the message that facebook serves people over profit.
Findability
Content needs to be seen to have impact. The site pulls in the most important content in Facebook's ecosystem and elevates it, whether through architecture, visual design, or SEO.
Focus
Less is more. The site structure is a finite container for the content that will most shift perception with users; a kitchen sink approach will detract from that content's impact.
